Terms of service

These terms apply to the Rolestash browser extension, website and Pro service ("Rolestash"), operated by a sole trader business in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). By installing or using Rolestash you agree to them.
1. The service
Rolestash helps you save job postings you are viewing and track your applications. The free plan works locally in your browser. Pro adds features such as sync, reminders and unlimited jobs. We may improve, change or retire features. If we remove a major Pro feature you rely on, you can cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund.
2. Accounts
You need an account for Pro. You must be at least 16, give accurate information, and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.
3. Plans, trials and billing
- Free plan: free of charge, with limits shown on our pricing, currently 25 active jobs. We may change free-plan limits with at least 30 days' notice. Your existing jobs are never deleted because of a limit.
- Free trial: new accounts get a 30-day Pro trial. No payment details are required, and the trial doesn't turn into a paid plan unless you choose to subscribe.
- Pro: US$7 per month or US$59 per year, plus any applicable taxes, charged in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time; Pro continues until the end of the paid period.
- Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your next renewal.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
4. Refunds
See our refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.
5. Your content
The jobs, notes and other data you save are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Rolestash to you, for example to sync them between your devices. You can export or delete them at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Use Rolestash for your own job search, and follow the terms of the websites you use it on. Don't:
- automate bulk collection from websites;
- try to access other people's data;
- interfere with the service or reverse-engineer its server side;
- resell it.
Rolestash reads only pages you choose to capture.
7. Open source
The extension's source code is published on GitHub. Your right to use that code is set by its licence. These terms govern the Rolestash service and brand.
8. Availability and warranties
We work hard to keep Rolestash reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that it will capture every posting perfectly. Always check the details before relying on them. To the extent the law allows, Rolestash is provided "as is". Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as missed opportunities or lost data. Keep your own exports as a backup. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If the Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited, where permitted, to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Rolestash and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and will give notice where reasonable. If we shut down Rolestash we'll give at least 60 days' notice, refund unused prepaid periods, and make sure you can export your data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Rolestash after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you also keep the protections of your local law.
